M5B Single Sided Digital Signage Outdoor Totem Enclosure

The Cletech M5B is a robust and aesthetically designed outdoor totem enclosure, engineered to house high-brightness displays in public spaces. Compatible with screen sizes ranging from 43" to 75", it supports both portrait and landscape orientations while offering a sleek presence ideal for urban environments and smart city applications.

With its IP56-rated structure, the M5B ensures reliable protection against rain, dust, temperature fluctuations, and other environmental hazards. The front surface features standard 8 mm extra clear tempered glass, with optional configurations including 4+4 mm laminated glass with IK10 impact resistance, as well as anti-reflective and anti-glare coatings.

Internally insulated with glass wool, the enclosure is equipped with a front-access, gas-spring-assisted service door featuring hidden hinges and dual-point locking for secure and convenient maintenance. The body is made of galvanized steel, coated with a zinc-based primer and finished with outdoor-grade electrostatic powder paint. For project-specific requirements, cataphoretic coating is also available as an alternative.

The Cletech M5B provides not only physical security, but also advanced thermal management to ensure uninterrupted operation in outdoor conditions. It includes a passive air intake and two high-performance exhaust fans from German manufacturer EBM Papst as standard. For enhanced airflow control, an optional tangential air curtain fan can be integrated to discharge warm air trapped between the display and the front glass.

Power distribution is managed through a standard 3-outlet surge-protected switched PDU, with an optional 6-outlet version available for more complex installations. The enclosure offers a stable mounting structure for displays and includes a dedicated area compatible with VESA-standard mini PCs.

For interactive applications, the M5B can be equipped with a projected capacitive (PCAP) touchscreen that supports up to 40 simultaneous touch points, making it an ideal solution for digital signage, public information systems, and interactive wayfinding in outdoor settings.
